Take a Health Career Class at the St.Clair Tech Center For the W.I.A Summer Program
Have you decided what you want to do after you graduate? Are you the type of person who wants to learn more about how to take care of people and want to know more about how the body works? Well look no further then right here. Start your education about human health with the W.I.A summer program here at the St.Clair Tech Center. The program is fun, educational, and a great way to meet other people who are interested in the same career you are.
I interviewed a Health Career student and her words were......" I really like the class, it's fun, educational, and a great experience for you to learn new things, I really enjoy being in the class." " My favorite part of class s is that you get to learn things that nurses and doctors do."
" When I'm done with the class I plan on working towards the nursing career. The things that you learn in the class you can use later in life." "It'll be really helpful in life because, you never know what could happen it can save your life and save someone elses." "It's a really good career to get into."
You'll learn material like how many ways you can use a thermomater to take someone's tempature, paitent assessment/vital signs, physiology, anatomy, medical termionology, infection control, medical ethics, emergency, and safety.
You can also do the Health Career Program by going into the Tech program through your school. You learn the same stuff as you would if you do the summer program, but you'll be in it the whole school year. All students must receive teacher recommendation to continue for a second semester. Students will learn CPR and first aid and have a opportunity to earn certification.
